It is with profound sadness that the Club has lost another of its founder members, John Hopes , affectionately known to many as 'Johnners'

John helped form Hawkesbury Cricket Club in 1984 and since then, has been an integral part of the association, holding the position of Secretary for many years and then of grounds man for a time, and then as a keen supporter .

The cricket club was a huge part of John's life and will be sorely missed by us all.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends at this difficult time.
