Received from the GCB - if you think this sounds interesting we would be happy to support applicants. If you are not sure whether Level 1 or 2 is right for you, then generally speaking Level 2 better for regular club players, Level 1 otherwise. Please speak to me if you want further advice, or contact the GCB for info (Chris.Munden@glosccc.co.uk).

As a rule, we don’t tend to put on courses during the summer as we know the cricket network are busy playing/ coaching/ administering the game, however with past courses having to be cancelled we know the demand is there. These dates are during the May/ June half term, we know this won’t suit everyone. There will be courses coming later in the year, we will advertise these over the next few months.
To be eligible for the Foundation 1, candidates must have an ECB DBS before the first date of the course. Without this, the ECB will not permit the candidate to begin that course. To start this DBS process, please send Theresa.ellison@glosccc.co.uk your:
Title
Full legal name
Club name and the role you have at your club
Date of birth
Your preferred email address
Everything is done online. It’s all very straight forward and takes approximately 2 weeks to come through, it then lasts for 3 years. This will need to be actioned pretty quickly for those that haven’t started the process yet. Please note, other DBS’s do not qualify, it must be an ECB DBS.
Registration for the course has to be done at least 7 days before the start date which is May 26th, so if you haven’t managed to book on before that date you will not be able to.
The link to book is https://booking.ecb.co.uk/d/0jqv0v
When signing up, please ensure you register with your full name as it is stated on your DBS. This is really important as we want to avoid duplications on ECB IT systems.
Due to the popular demand of these courses, unfortunately we cannot hold spaces for candidates.
